Who we are
Doomposter is the private read-only analytics dashboard. It is used only by its owner, for the YouTube channels the owner manages. There are no other users.
What data the app accesses
When the owner signs in with its Google account, the app requests read-only access through these Google scopes:
- youtube.readonly — the channel’s basic information (name, ID, subscriber and video counts) and its list of videos.
- yt-analytics.readonly — YouTube Analytics reports for the owner’s channels: views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, countries, impressions and click-through rate.
The app does not access Gmail, contacts, files or any data of other YouTube users, and it never uploads, edits or deletes content.
How the data is used
The data is shown in the owner’s private dashboard to decide which videos to make and how to improve them. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with third parties and not used to train AI models.
Where the data is stored
Reports and access tokens are stored only on the owner’s own computer. Nothing is copied to other servers.
Keeping and deleting data
Reports are kept while the dashboard is in use. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; after that the app can no longer read new data, and stored reports are deleted on request.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Doomposter’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
